Click Commerce to Host Its First Annual Developer Forum for Extranet-based Clinical Research Applications
Click Compliance Consortium (C3) Offers Click eResearch Portal Customers a Unique Opportunity to Expand the Value of Their Investment through Shared Best Practices
PORTLAND, OR, February 19, 2008 – Click Commerce, an ITW company (NYSE: ITW), announced today that the Click Compliance Consortium (C3) will host the first annual forum for developers, system administrators and managers, configuration specialists and other technology professionals who are actively involved in the direction and evolution of Click software applications for research administration, compliance and clinical trials . More than 50 Click eResearch Portal users from 24 customer sites will attend the two-day affair at Click’s Portland, Oregon, offices February 20-21, 2008. Click Commerce is the only eResearch platform provider with tools that allow institutions to configure their own clinical research applications.
Forum attendees include representatives from some of the largest academic medical centers and research institutions in the U.S., among them Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, University of Michigan, University of Pittsburgh, and Washington University. Presenters include Wake Forest University, Children’s Hospital of Boston, University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
C3, sponsored by Click’s Research and Healthcare division, is an association of individuals from institutions and organizations using the Click Commerce eResearch Portal to automate their research administration and compliance workflow processes, including grants and contracts, Institutional Review Board (IRB), billing, and patient tracking. The C3 Developer Forum will enable Click Research and Healthcare customers to expand the strategic value of their investment in Click’s software by:
- Providing guidance and visibility into Click’s eResearch Portal product and technology roadmap
- Enabling shared best practices in development, configuration, and administration of Click Extranet-based applications
- Providing hands-on technical training and a forum for customer feedback
