Solution Now at Kaiser’s CHR Sites in Atlanta and Honolulu
CHICAGO – September 29, 2011 – Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced the expansion of its Click™ Portal-based Institutional Review Board (IRB) software solution to all Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research (CHR) locations.
The CHR expansion incorporates geographically dispersed IRB processing at research sites in Portland, Ore., Atlanta, and Honolulu on a single, central Web site platform. The resulting electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB) will simplify and streamline compliance collaboration and decision making among all three CHR research sites. Stakeholders from locations thousands of miles apart can access, track, and manage study proposals, related documents, and meeting setup and outcomes online.
“Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research is leveraging the Click Portal platform to meet the needs of an organization with multiple research locations,” said Nick Stier, managing director, Huron Education. “The platform allows geographically dispersed institutional research programs to access one unified system for processing. Click is proud to play a key role in helping CHR extend the benefits of eIRB automation throughout the organization.”
Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research and many other leading research institutions use Huron’s Click Portal platform to automate a wide range of administrative and compliance processes, including those associated with IRB, Conflict of Interest (COI), Grants, and Clinical Trials.
