Q. Some of our researchers are Mac-based. Can we still use Click Portal solutions?
A. Absolutely. Click Portal is 100% browser-based and is tested on the most popular browsers that run on Macs and PCs.
Q. Will a Click Portal solution allow us to audit our activity?
A. Yes. Click Portal provides audit trails throughout the life cycle of a process. In addition, a separate Auditing solution allows systematic audits of studies, facilities and researchers.
Q. How much of a learning curve will there be for our users?
A. Click Portal customers report learning curves are typically brief, ensuring a rapid ROI. Click Portal SmartForms™ guide users through the system while built-in error checking mechanisms alert users to omissions and required fields. Help windows provide further guidance when needed.
Q. Does Click Portal provide training on the system?

Q. How long does it take to deploy a Click Portal solution?
A. Configuration and implementation cycles vary depending on the complexity of your forms and processes, the amount of data to load, and other factors. The timespan from kick-off to launch is typically in the range of 3-4 months for a relatively simple implementation to 12-18 months for a more complex scenario. During that time you will be working with a world-class services organization to ensure efficiencies of time and scale in delivering your solution.
Q. Will Click Portal solutions work with my existing business systems?
A. Click Portal solutions can be seamlessly integrated with most business systems, including those commonly used for general ledger and human resources. In addition, our Web Services solution provides secure information transfer to and from your Click system.
Q. Can Click Commerce host or manage my solution?
A. Certainly. Huron's Click Portal Hosting Services allow you to outsource the operation and management of your solution using best-in-class systems and support. We also offer a Managed Services option that lets you use your own infrastructure while leaving management and support of your system to us.
Q. Do Click Portal solutions support submissions through Grants.gov?
A. Yes. Both our Grants and Contracts and SF424 eSubmission solutions are Grants.gov certified.
Q. Do Click Portal solutions conform to 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines?
A. Yes. The product's portal level security and product practices provide a compliant, configurable product base that satisfies 21 CFR Part 11 requirements when used in combination with your own standard operating procedures such as policies on password protection, secured physical access to server hardware and other IT-related institutional SOPs.
